communication

Modern children I talk a lot with TV, video and computer.

In the works of L. A. Wenger is devoted to the development and education of children of preschool age can find scientific justification and confirmation of how the computer can help the intellectual growth of the child.

On the display screen come to life any fantasy of a child, the heroes of books and fairy tales. But also come to life and the world, numbers and letters. Getting a computer game, they create a special world, like the real, but also different from him. Computer games are made so that the child could not imagine a single concept or a specific situation, but got a General idea about all similar situations or objects. The Psychological development of boys. Tips for parents on parenting sons

It is our greatest misfortune — we look at boys as on some winding machines, which create a constant, annoying noise and it does not require any care or communication or participation from parents. In fact, at the heart of every little boy secretly lives a hero — a little Huck Finn or Tarzan that’s just waiting to show their physical strength in a fight with a powerful enemy, and to gain approval and recognition of its uniqueness.

Experiments have shown that girls and boys use completely different approaches to establishing relations with other people. Even before the moment of birth, boys are more physical activity. Attention newborn girls focused on faces and sounds, newborn boys and painabove all attracted by moving objects. The speaking and listening skills develop slower in boys, but many parents notice the precision with which they imitate such sounds as the noise of the engine, — and begin to do it much sooner than trying to reproduce the words. In the process of speech development, almost all the sounds of the girls, Continue reading

The Paradoxes of Japanese education

Education of the individual in Japan is very different from traditional education in other countries. Those rude phrases, which are easy to hear on our playgrounds: “you’re bad”, “now I will punish you” it is impossible to imagine there. Even if the little Japanese boy would fight with my mother or felt-tip pen to draw on the white door of the store, no strict punishments and reprimands will not follow. Up to 5-6 years old child here everything is allowed. Such liberal tradition of educating absolutely not fit into our ideas about how to raise children.

The basis of education in Japanese society is a tolerant and friendly attitude to a young child. Such permissiveness in childhood, adult Japanese citizens are law-abiding and ability to live by the interests of the team and company.

What we consider minor offences: beer behind the wheel, a conflict with a fight on holiday, journey on forbidding signal of a traffic light, – it is impossible for Japanese. To live is required by the rules. Break the rules (“losing face”). That in Japan, children are taught from early childhood, is the basis of education.

Amazing result? Actually, the education of the individual in Japanese society is constructed so that Continue reading
